1. Discovery

Shortly after your enquiry you will talk to a friendly earthling with business experience and discuss your mission. You can share your business goals, challenges and ambitions. This takes 30 to 45 minutes on average and you will feel understood and cared for. Your goals will be Top Secret and serve as the blueprint for the construction stage.

2. Construction

We will plan and design your online business tool based on the results you want. Once you are happy with the draft we start the actual development. This part is mostly autonomous and will require little input from you, apart from an odd email or call. You will be well informed throughout the process. Once all is OK, you push the green button!

3. Launch

Hooray! Now you have a world-class website, geared for achieving your business goals. But we don’t just stop at launching your spaceship and handing over the controls. We support your mission and your space crew on their exciting journey after the launch. If you have a question or a suggestion, our friendly support team is just an email away.

What is the process?

We keep things simple and efficient. After the initial contact, we have a chat with you about your goals to get a vision of a website design that will get you closer to these goals.

We framework the website based on this vision and propose a design.

Once design is accepted, we start building your website.

Throughout the building stage we collect your feedback and make changes.

Once everyone is happy, we push the big green button and publish your brand new website to the world.

When will my website be ready?

For the Super Saver package we can usually have a draft ready within 1-2 weeks.

For the Entrepreneur package, draft completion is within 3-4 weeks, due to increased complexity.

Please note that any delays to this will depend on how quickly you can send us your initial information and content for the website.

Can I update the website myself?

Absolutely. You can easily edit the content, including text and photos. WordPress is a user-friendly Content Management System and requires little technical knowledge.

Once we hand the website over, we will guide and support you in learning how to use WordPress.

How do I pay?

To make it fair for everyone we have split the payment in two parts:

  • 50% Deposit – paid upon starting the project
  • 50% Balance – paid upon handover and going live

Please note that we accept bank transfers and credit card payments.

Are there ongoing costs?

There are generally two ongoing costs to keep any website live. We need to rent out storage space online for the website (hosting) and we need to buy a domain name (unless you already own one). The good news is that we provide both:

  • Web Hosting: $25 per month (world-class fast and secure hosting)
  • Domain name renewal: $35 per year (if purchased from us, and applies only to [.nz],  [.co.nz] and [.com] domains – other domains may differ in price)

Because our building platform is tied with hosting, you can not use another hosting provider. Rest assured that our hosting prices are one of the lowest in the country.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes. We will hook it up to your website free of charge.

Will I get a custom email?

Not by default. For just $9 per month we can supply an email name, connected to your website domain (even if you did not buy the domain name through us).

We can also help you set this up on your favourite email client, such as Gmail, Outlook or iCloud.

How many products can I sell?

This is up to you. We will set up a store so you can add products and services yourself. We will also integrate a payment gateway so you can safely accept credit cards online (this is done through a secure third party provider like PayPal).

Keep in mind that the more products you list, the more storage space and bandwidth you will need. You can always upgrade your hosting plan to keep up.

If you plan to sell more than 50 products please let us know so we can set up hosting that works for you.

What content do you provide?

Your website is part of a larger sales machine and needs to have great images and copy in order to bring in more customers.

Although we encourage our clients to provide images and text copy themselves, we can use professional stock images at no extra cost. Initial written copy is tailored to your business and comes with the website.

We also offer in-house photography, videography and copywriting at affordable rates. Please let us know if you think you need these optional extras.

Can you update my website if I don’t have the time?

In short, yes. We offer a monthly editing service for just $45 per month. We do require you to send us the content you want on your website, such as text copy and images. There is no contract and you can cancel any time.

Do you use website templates?

Yes. These days there is absolutely no need to build a website from scratch (unless custom functionality is required). It is like chopping tomatoes with a chainsaw.

We use 100’s of modern state-of-the-art website design templates that are fully customisable to your needs.

This way we are able to save a ton of time and money and pass these savings directly to you.

Will my website design be mobile friendly?

Yes, of course. More than half of your visitors will use their phones.

Will I be first in Google search?

We don’t guarantee the top-of-the-page placement on Google. We are not an SEO company and will not provide long term ongoing tweaks to the website, as there are companies who can do this much better than us.

However, we will tune every page of your website to be search-engine friendly.

Please note that it takes anywhere from 30 to 90 days for your website to show up in search results – that’s just how Google algorithms are set up to sort through millions of websites.

Do you provide GST invoices?

We don’t charge GST simply because at the moment we are not registered for GST in New Zealand.

Our prices are transparent – what you see is what you get. Invoices are provided for all orders.

Can you design my logo?

Logo design is a part of our Brand Identity package. This package includes a logo, email signature, social media banners and profile images if needed. Brand Identity package is available separately for only $495.
